World KNK makes uniforms for mining and resources companies in Bandung, Indonesia, from 1,000 pieces per style on FOB (full service) terms. Head office shirting, engineering and technical team wear, graduate intake sets, site administration pieces and community-facing wardrobes, cut and sewn to the company’s own design in woven fabrics, with logos, labels and trims applied in production. Sampling takes 1 to 2 weeks and bulk delivery 6 to 12 weeks, shipped from Bandung to your doors. The factory is a woven specialist producing since 2000 with 200,000 pieces of monthly capacity, and it cuts every programme on Lectra systems so each annual intake matches the one before.
Two suppliers serve a resources company; neither owns the brand
Look at how a resources company actually gets dressed. The site crews are covered by safety workwear specialists, who know their category cold. The head office is covered by a generic corporate catalogue, whatever the procurement team could source quickly. Between the two sits the company itself, with no wardrobe of its own: the Perth engineers wear one thing, the Brisbane project office another, and the February graduate intake gets whatever was still in stock. A made-to-design programme closes that gap. The corporate, technical and admin tiers wear the company’s own woven shirting, cut to its pattern and dyed to its palette, so the brand walks through head office, the project rooms and the site admin complex as one standard. The site’s safety garments stay exactly where they belong, with the site specification, and the two programmes share nothing but the brand.
Every style is a woven garment: shirting that holds a press through a flight, a project review and a community meeting in the same day.
What we make for mining and resources companies
Head office & corporate wear
Easy-care woven shirting for Perth, Brisbane and head offices, cut to the house palette.
Engineering & technical teams
Practical wovens with working pocket details for study teams, project offices and technical reviews.
Graduate & induction intakes
One cohort set issued on arrival; patterns on file make every year’s intake match exactly.
Site administration & village admin
Admin-tier shirting for site offices and accommodation teams, distinct from the crews’ safety garments.
Community & recruitment teams
Public-facing wear for careers fairs, community consultations and stakeholder visits.
Contractor head offices & top-ups
Contractors’ own office fleets, plus annual re-orders that pull from patterns on file.
The corporate wardrobe and the site are two programmes
A clear line keeps this programme precise: it dresses the corporate, technical, administrative and community-facing workforce, the people whose day is offices, project rooms and travel. Site crews wear safety workwear to the site’s own written safety specification, quoted and supplied by the safety workwear channel, and where a company standard touches protective features we build strictly to the specification you hold, with no claims of ours attached. What the two programmes can share is the palette and the label standard, so the company reads as one brand from head office to site gate, with each programme quoted and held separately.
How ordering works
Send the company’s colours, a design reference or the shirts your offices wear now, and your headcount with size breakdowns across the corporate, technical and admin tiers. We quote per style on FOB (full service) terms, put fabric options on the table, and courier samples within 1 to 2 weeks. Trial them through real work weeks before approving bulk, then production runs 6 to 12 weeks depending on fabric and ships from Bandung with export documentation handled. Companies developing a signature fabric should plan 1,500 pieces to open the development run. Graduate intakes reward a buffer: patterns on file turn every year’s cohort into a matching re-order.
Resources sector uniform FAQs
What is the minimum order?
1,000 pieces per style. A company usually runs several styles across corporate, technical, admin and community tiers, which clears the minimum comfortably in one season.
Do you make the site safety workwear?
No. Site crews wear safety garments to the site’s written safety specification, supplied through the safety workwear channel. Our programme is the corporate, technical, admin and community wardrobe.
What does FOB (full service) include?
We source the fabric, build the pattern, run sampling and production, and QC every piece. You get finished garments at one quoted per-style price.
Can the graduate intake match last year’s set?
Yes. Patterns are cut on Lectra and stored with the programme, so each year’s intake matches the first delivery exactly, instead of whatever a catalogue still has in stock.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. The factory exports woven programmes worldwide, including for a Hawaii-based procurement house, and handles export documentation from Bandung.
We need 500 pieces per style, not 1,000. Is there an option?
Our sister brand Kizen Lab produces woven and non-woven programmes from 500 pieces per style at kizenlab.com, in the same factory group.
