Home Services Technician Shirts from 1,000 Pieces

World KNK makes home services and trade technician work shirts in Bandung, Indonesia: woven shirts for the electrical, plumbing, HVAC and mechanical service firms whose technicians walk into customers’ homes every day, cut and sewn to your design from 1,000 pieces per style. Company colours, logo embroidery and name application built in production, patterns stored on Lectra systems, and 200,000 pieces of monthly capacity behind the programme. Producing since 2000.

The technician’s shirt is a trust decision

A service technician knocks on a stranger’s door carrying the company’s entire reputation on their chest. Home services firms from HVAC and plumbing to electrical and mechanical trades know this: the branded collared shirt is the uniform of the visit, the thing the customer judges before a word is spoken, and the thing that has to survive crawling through roof spaces, kneeling in driveways and a nightly wash. The big rental companies sell that shirt as a weekly service contract. Stock brands sell it as a decorated blank. What neither sells is a shirt built to the firm’s own specification, and that is the lane this page runs: your pattern, your cloth, your logo and name application sewn in production, at 1,000 pieces per style across the whole fleet.

Patterns are cut digitally on Lectra systems and stored with the programme, so a new intake of apprentices comes off the same nest as the first delivery and matches it exactly.

What we make for service fleets

Technician work shirts

Short and long-sleeve collared work shirts in durable easy-care poly-cotton, built for kneeling, crawling and constant washing.

Logo & name application

Company embroidery, trade badges and technician name bars applied during production, not ironed on at a shop afterwards.

Branch & role colourways

Distinct palettes per trade line or branch, stable across the fleet and across re-orders for years.

Customer-facing standard

Neater fits and colourfast cloth for the firms whose technicians are the brand’s front door.

Custom cloth development

Fabric developed to your brief from 1,500 pieces per style when stock blends cannot deliver the weight or hand your spec calls for.

Fleet churn top-ups

Technician intakes are constant; top-ups come off stored patterns and match every shirt already in the vans.

Built to the fleet specification

The rental-versus-buy decision that owns this market has a third option, and procurement teams write its specification the same way they write any garment brief: composition and weight, construction standards at the neck and stress points, branding placement documented, sizes across the full run, and a reference sample everything is judged against. That is a manufacturing brief, and it is what this factory receives. Cloth is dyed to the company palette; embroidery is applied in production against approved artwork; samples are couriered within 1 to 2 weeks and worn, washed and audited before bulk is cut; bulk runs 6 to 12 weeks with shipping documentation handled from our side. Garments with visibility requirements sit outside this page’s woven range: they are quoted against the written specification your safety team holds, as a separate line.

FOB (full service) manufacturing

Service firms run different supply models, and both are on offer here. Under FOB (full service), we source the fabric, build the pattern, run sampling and production, and QC every piece before shipment. The production floor, pattern-making and QC are the same on every programme, and every programme starts at 1,000 pieces per style.

How a fleet order runs

Send the specification: tech packs, reference shirts or the current uniforms to replace, with your technician numbers and size breakdown. Samples are couriered within 1 to 2 weeks and worn, washed and audited before approval. Bulk production takes 6 to 12 weeks depending on fabric, then ships with documentation handled from our side. Plan around churn: a standing replenishment rhythm off stored patterns keeps every branch and every van in specification without re-tendering the shirt.

Service fleet uniform FAQs

What is the minimum order?

1,000 pieces per style, mixed across your size run. Custom fabric development starts at 1,500 pieces per style.

We currently rent shirts weekly. How does this compare?

Rental bundles laundering into a weekly contract; this programme sells the shirts outright to your specification, so the fleet owns its wardrobe and every replacement matches the first delivery from stored patterns.

Can you match our company colours and add technician names?

Yes. Cloth is dyed to your palette, and company embroidery, trade badges and name bars are applied in production against your artwork, approved on samples before bulk.

Do the shirts survive trade work?

The woven programme is built for it: durable poly-cotton weights, taped necks, double-needle hems and colourfast cloth matched to your brief, with samples washed through real work before bulk is approved.

We need high-visibility garments for site work. Can you help?

Garments with visibility requirements are quoted against the written specification your safety team holds, as a separate line from the technician wardrobe on this page.

We need fewer than 1,000 pieces per style. Can you help?

For smaller inquiries, check out our subsidiary Kizen Lab. They run woven uniform programmes from 500 pieces on a full-service basis at kizenlab.com.
