Government & Institutional Uniform Manufacturer Indonesia

World KNK makes government and institutional uniforms in Bandung, Indonesia: woven garments made to specification, in our own factory, since 2000. Institutional programmes start at 1,000 pieces per style, mixed across your full size run, with 200,000 pieces of monthly production capacity behind them. Sampling takes 1 to 2 weeks and bulk delivery 6 to 12 weeks, and because patterns are stored on file, the uniform issued in year five matches the one issued in year one.

Made to specification, year after year

Institutional clothing lives or dies on consistency. Departments, agencies, schools and care organisations do not buy a season’s look; they buy a standard that has to hold across hundreds of wearers, many sites and several budget years. That is a manufacturing job, not a catalogue order. Every garment is cut and sewn to a written specification: the cloth and its weight, the colours and their tolerances, the construction at collars, cuffs and stress points, and the sizing graded across a full run from smallest to largest.

Patterns are developed and cut digitally on Lectra systems and stored with your programme. Staff turnover and annual intakes are met from the same patterns, so a new issuance matches the uniforms already in service. That is what keeps an institution looking like one institution.

What we make for institutions

Front-of-house shirts & blouses

Structured woven shirts for the teams that meet the public first, in department colours.

Formal trousers & skirts

Office-weight wovens graded across full size runs, built for daily wear and industrial laundering.

Dresses

Specification-driven styles cut to the institution’s own block, consistent across every order.

Vests & tailored layers

Role markers and formal layers handled through colour-blocking and dyed-to-match cloth.

Department colour standards

One programme carrying every branch and role’s colours, with tolerances held order after order.

Embroidery & insignia in production

Badges, titles and emblems embroidered as the garment is made, positioned identically every time.

Durability written into the cloth

Institutional garments are laundered harder and more often than almost any other clothing, so the specification starts with the fabric: durable poly-cotton blends and woven weights chosen for the duty cycle, with construction reinforced at the points that fail first. Samples are approved on real wearers and put through washing before bulk is cut. Branding goes into production rather than on top of it, so embroidery and colour detail survive the wash cycles that retire lesser garments.

How an institutional programme runs

Begin with the specification: sketches, reference garments or an existing standard to match. Samples arrive in 1 to 2 weeks and are approved on real wearers. While samples are out, build the quantity breakdown by style, size and site. Bulk production takes 6 to 12 weeks depending on fabric; a custom-developed cloth adds 4 to 8 weeks, so raise it at the start. Order a buffer beyond current headcount: intakes and replacements are constant, and patterns on file turn every top-up into a matching re-order.

Government and institutional uniform FAQs

What is the minimum order for institutional uniforms?

1,000 pieces per style, mixed across your size run. Custom fabric development starts at 1,500 pieces per style.

Can you work to a written specification?

Yes. Cloth, weight, colours, construction and sizing are all quoted against your specification, and samples are approved before bulk runs.

How do you keep year-five uniforms identical to year one?

Patterns are stored on file with the factory and cut digitally on Lectra systems, so every issuance runs from the same digital pattern under the same checks.

Can different departments have different colours in one programme?

Yes. Department colour standards are handled in production through colour-blocking and dyed-to-match cloth under one order structure.

Which fabrics do you use for institutional wear?

Durable woven blends chosen for the duty cycle: breathable for front-of-house roles, heavier weights for outdoor and industrial settings, all tested against industrial laundering.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. We export from Bandung, Indonesia, and run programmes for overseas buyers, including a Hawaii-based uniform procurement house.

We need fewer than 1,000 pieces per style. Can you help?
