World KNK makes government field crew uniforms in Bandung, Indonesia: woven work shirts for works, parks, utilities and inspection teams, cut and sewn to your specification from 1,000 pieces per style. Department crests and colour-coding applied in production, patterns stored on Lectra systems so every intake matches, and 200,000 pieces of monthly production capacity behind the programme. Producing since 2000.
The field side of a government wardrobe
Government buys uniforms differently from business: tenders specify the garments, line items list shirts by style and cut, and the successful supplier has to deliver the same specification to every depot for years. The field side of that wardrobe is the largest and hardest-wearing part of it. Works and maintenance crews, parks teams, utilities field staff, animal management and inspection officers who spend their days outdoors and walk into the public’s day: they need collared shirts that survive the work, identify the department at a distance, and keep the council or agency reading as one organisation from the depot gate to the front counter.
This page is the field-crew angle of a three-part government series: customer-service counters, front-line service centres and now the outdoor crews. Field garments are made to the same institutional discipline as the office tiers, in the cloth that outdoor work demands.
What we make for government field teams
Works & maintenance shirts
Durable woven work shirts for road, water, parks and depot crews, built for daily outdoor wear and constant washing.
Inspection & field officer shirts
Neater collared shirts for officers who work outdoors and meet the public: animal management, compliance support, environmental teams.
Department colour-coding
Distinct palettes per department, applied in production, so crews are identifiable at a distance and consistent across every depot.
Crests & patches sewn in
Department crests, breast badges and name bars applied during manufacturing, not ironed on at a shop afterwards.
Depot-to-counter transition
The same palette running across field and office tiers, so a crew member walking into a service centre still reads as the organisation.
Intake & season top-ups
Patterns on file turn recruit intakes and seasonal re-orders into matching repeats, without paying for development again.
Built to the tender line item
Government workwear procurement writes the specification before it names the supplier: shirt styles in men’s and women’s cuts, sizes across the full run, colours per department, crests and patches placed to a documented standard. That is a manufacturing brief, and it is what this factory is set up to receive. Patterns are graded digitally on Lectra systems and stored with the programme, so year three’s order is cut from the same nest as year one’s. Cloth is dyed to the department palette and matched across styles. Branding is applied in production. Samples are couriered within 1 to 2 weeks and audited against the specification before bulk is cut, and bulk runs 6 to 12 weeks with shipping documentation handled from our side. Garments with visibility or protective requirements sit outside this page’s woven range: they are quoted against the written specification your safety team holds, as a separate line.
FOB (full service) manufacturing
Government programmes run different supply models, and both are on offer here. Under FOB (full service), we source the fabric, build the pattern, run sampling and production, and QC every piece before shipment. The production floor, pattern-making and QC are the same on every programme, and every programme starts at 1,000 pieces per style.
Government field uniform FAQs
What is the minimum order?
1,000 pieces per style, mixed across your size run and both cuts. Custom fabric development starts at 1,500 pieces per style.
Can you match department colours across depots and years?
Yes. Cloth is dyed to the department palette, crests and patches are applied in production, and re-orders are cut from the same stored Lectra patterns.
Do you supply high-visibility workwear?
Garments with visibility requirements are quoted against the written specification your safety team holds, as a separate line from the woven field wardrobe on this page.
Can the field range match our office uniform tiers?
Yes. The palette runs across the series, so field crews, service centres and counters read as one organisation with distinct roles.
How do re-orders work for new intakes?
Your patterns, specs and artwork stay on file with the factory. A top-up order manufactures to the same locked specification as the first delivery.
We need fewer than 1,000 pieces per style. Can you help?
For smaller inquiries, check out our subsidiary Kizen Lab. They run woven uniform programmes from 500 pieces on a full-service basis at kizenlab.com.
