World KNK makes uniforms for equipment hire and rental companies in Bandung, Indonesia, from 1,000 pieces per style on FOB (full service) terms. Hire desk and trade counter shirts, branch manager wear, sales rep shirting, customer service and contracts office lines and branch network sets, cut and sewn to the company’s own design with your logo, colours and labels applied in production. Sampling takes 1 to 2 weeks and bulk delivery 6 to 12 weeks, shipped from Bandung to your doors. The factory is a woven specialist producing since 2000 with 200,000 pieces of monthly capacity, and it cuts every programme on Lectra systems so every branch in the network dresses to one standard.
Every hire contract starts at a counter, and the counter is the brand
An equipment hire branch is a strange kind of shop: the fleet outside is worth millions, painted and decaled to the brand, and then the customer walks inside to sign the contract. The hire desk is a proper professional role, industry job listings describe hire controllers managing the counter to a high standard of service for contractors, and branch managers carry sales and customer service targets beside the yard. Yet when a hire chain dresses that counter, the supply layer offers uniform rental with a logo stitched on, or Dickies shirts from an embroidery shop, one branch at a time; no uniform programme speaks to the hire industry. The fleet is branded to the metre; the person handing over the keys is dressed by whatever the local provider had in stock. A made-to-design programme finishes the job: hire desk shirts cut to the company’s pattern, branch managers a tier sharper, sales reps dressed for the construction site visit, and one specification across every branch in the network.
Patterns are cut digitally on Lectra systems and stored with your programme, so the new branch’s opening intake comes off the same patterns and matches the network exactly.
What we make for equipment hire and rental companies
Hire desk & trade counter staff
Classic button-front woven shirts for the counter where every contract starts.
Branch managers & hire controllers
A tier sharper for the people who run the branch and own the customer relationships.
Sales & account reps
Site-ready shirting for reps calling on construction projects and commercial accounts.
Customer service & contracts office
Office lines for the teams who handle bookings, billing and damage claims by phone.
Workshop & branch front office
Service-desk wear for the workshops customers deal with, distinct from the floor.
Branch network sets & top-ups
One specification across every branch, with opening intakes from patterns on file.
The counter wardrobe; the yard stays with the ops spec
A clear line keeps this programme precise: it dresses the hire desk, branch management, sales, customer service and workshop front office, the people customers sign with and speak to. Yard crews, workshop technicians and delivery drivers wear workwear and protective garments to the company’s written operations specification, quoted and supplied through the workwear channel alongside your usual provider. What the two sides share is the palette and the label standard, so the branch reads as one operation from the counter to the gate, with each stream quoted and held separately.
How ordering works
Send the company’s colours, a design reference or the work shirts a branch wears now, and your headcount with size breakdowns across the branches. We quote per style on FOB (full service) terms, put fabric options on the table, and courier samples within 1 to 2 weeks. Trial them through real counter weeks before approving bulk, then production runs 6 to 12 weeks depending on fabric and ships from Bandung with export documentation handled. Companies developing a signature fabric should plan 1,500 pieces to open the development run. Branch networks order a buffer: patterns on file turn every opening and hiring round into a matching re-order.
Equipment hire uniform FAQs
What is the minimum order?
1,000 pieces per style. A hire chain usually runs several styles, one per tier, which clears the minimum comfortably across a branch network.
Do you make the yard and workshop garments?
Yard crews, workshop technicians and drivers wear workwear and protective garments quoted against the company’s written operations specification. Our programme is the hire desk, management, sales and office wardrobe.
Can one order cover every branch?
Yes. The network holds one specification, and every branch’s opening intake and re-orders pull from patterns on file, so a new branch opens dressed like the flagship.
We want the classic button-front work shirt. Can you make it to design?
Yes. The button-front trade shirt is the core of this programme: cut to your pattern, in your colours, with your labels and pocket branding sewn in production.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. The factory exports woven programmes worldwide, including for a Hawaii-based procurement house, and handles export documentation from Bandung.
We need 500 pieces per style, not 1,000. Is there an option?
Our sister brand Kizen Lab produces woven and non-woven programmes from 500 pieces per style at kizenlab.com, in the same factory group.
