World KNK manufactures woven dresses and skirts for fashion brands in Bandung, Indonesia, cut and sewn to your designs from 1,000 pieces per style. Private label done properly: your patterns, your cloth, your labels, produced in our own factory since 2000 with 200,000 pieces of monthly capacity behind them. Sampling takes 1 to 2 weeks and bulk delivery 6 to 12 weeks.
Beyond the sampling shop
Low-minimum platforms and sampling workshops are a fine place to prove a dress style: fifty pieces here, a hundred there. The hard part comes after a style sells. Scaling it needs a factory that can hold the fit true across a full size run, match the cloth colour on every re-order, and deliver thousands of pieces without the quality drifting. That is the lane World KNK works in. Dresses and skirts are core woven categories here, made to your designs with grading handled digitally on Lectra systems, so the size 6 fits like the sample and the size 18 fits like the size 6.
Private label details are part of production, not an afterthought: your woven brand labels, your care labels, your hangtag-compatible finishing, all specified before the line runs and applied during it.

Woven specialists, and why it matters for dresses
World KNK makes woven garments only: dresses, skirts, shirts, blouses, trousers, vests and light jackets. Woven cloth behaves differently from knit. It demands precise pattern-making, careful cutting and experienced operators, which is why it is the whole focus here rather than one line among many. Drape, structure and colour consistency are the three things buyers judge a dress on, and twenty-plus years on the same production floor is what delivers all three at scale. More than five million pieces have left the floor since 2000.
Why fashion brands manufacture in Bandung
Bandung is one of Southeast Asia’s established garment cities, and our factory has been producing there since 2000. Group customers include a Hawaii-based procurement house. For a fashion label, that means factory-direct pricing without a sourcing middleman, English-speaking programme management, and export documentation handled from our side. Samples travel by air courier and bulk ships from Bandung to your ports, with your freight forwarder or ours moving the cartons.
How ordering works
Send your tech packs, reference garments or the designs, along with your numbers and size breakdown. We quote the programme, put fabric options on the table, and samples are couriered to you within 1 to 2 weeks. Approve the fit on real bodies, then bulk production takes 6 to 12 weeks depending on fabric, with custom fabric development adding 4 to 8 weeks where a style needs its own cloth. Lock the pattern once and every restock comes off the same digital file.
Dress manufacturing FAQs
What is the minimum order?
1,000 pieces per style, mixed across your size run. Custom fabric development starts at 1,500 pieces per style.
Can you work from our tech packs?
Yes. Send your tech packs and reference samples, and we will match them. If a spec needs adjusting for the cloth or construction, it gets named and approved at sampling, not discovered in bulk.
Do you add our labels?
Yes. Woven brand labels, care labels and finishing details are specified before production and applied on the line, so garments arrive retail-ready.
Will restocks match the first delivery?
Yes. Patterns are cut digitally on Lectra systems and stored with your programme, so a restock or a new colourway matches the original run exactly.
Can you match our colour palette?
Yes. Cloth is dyed to your palette and prints are applied to spec, with the approved standard kept on file for every re-order.
We need fewer than 1,000 pieces per style. Can you help?
For smaller inquiries, check out our subsidiary Kizen Lab. They run woven clothing programmes from 500 pieces on a full-service basis at kizenlab.com.
