World KNK makes uniforms for contract catering and workplace dining companies in Bandung, Indonesia, from 1,000 pieces per style on FOB (full service) terms. Café counter and server shirts, dining room host wear, site and executive dining manager tiers, client relations and mobilisation team pieces and regional support office lines, cut and sewn to the company’s own design with your logo, colours and labels applied in production. Sampling takes 1 to 2 weeks and bulk delivery 6 to 12 weeks, shipped from Bandung to your doors. The factory is a woven specialist producing since 2000 with 200,000 pieces of monthly capacity, and it cuts every programme on Lectra systems so the café in one client tower dresses identically to the café in another.
Your café is inside the client’s building, and your team is the brand
Contract catering works on a promise the industry has standardised for decades: one operating model, one visual identity, delivered identically in every client site. The caterer’s staff work as guests inside the client’s building, seen every single day by the client’s own employees, and the dining experience is part of the service the client bought. Hospitality uniform specialists supply excellent stock ranges for that floor. But the caterer’s brand is not a stock range: it is the shirt that reads the same at the tower café, the factory canteen and the executive dining room, and it survives retenders, new site launches and the award of the next contract. A made-to-design programme gives the caterer that identity: counter shirts cut to the company’s pattern, manager tiers for every site, mobilisation teams dressed for the day a new client opens, and one specification held for every site in the portfolio.
Patterns are cut digitally on Lectra systems and stored with your programme, so the server hired for the new site opening comes off the same patterns and matches the portfolio exactly.
What we make for contract catering companies
Café counter & server teams
The daily-visibility tier, presented to the client’s employees at every service.
Dining room hosts & floor service
Front-of-house lines for the rooms where the client hosts its own guests.
Site & executive dining managers
A tier sharper for the people who run each site and the executive rooms.
Client relations & mobilisation teams
Polished wear for tender presentations and the day a new site opens.
Regional operations & support office
Corporate lines for the teams who audit, coach and support every site.
Portfolio standardisation & top-ups
One specification across every client site, with opening intakes from patterns on file.
The front-of-house wardrobe; the kitchen stays with the site’s food-safety spec
A clear line keeps this programme precise: it dresses the counter, dining room, management, mobilisation and support office teams, the people the client’s employees see. Kitchen and food-prep garments carry food-safety requirements that live in each client site’s written specification, and where the caterer wants those garments made alongside the front-of-house line, we build strictly to the specification held, with no claims of ours attached; laundering and compliance stay with the site’s provider. What both sides share is the palette and the label standard, so the whole operation reads as one brand, with each stream quoted and held separately.
How ordering works
Send the company’s colours, a design reference or the shirts an existing site wears now, and your headcount with size breakdowns across the portfolio. We quote per style on FOB (full service) terms, put fabric options on the table, and courier samples within 1 to 2 weeks. Trial them through real service periods before approving bulk, then production runs 6 to 12 weeks depending on fabric and ships from Bandung with export documentation handled. Companies developing a signature fabric should plan 1,500 pieces to open the development run. Portfolios order a buffer: patterns on file turn every new site’s mobilisation into a matching re-order.
Contract catering uniform FAQs
What is the minimum order?
1,000 pieces per style. A caterer usually runs several styles across counter, dining room, manager and office tiers, which clears the minimum comfortably across a portfolio.
Do you make the kitchen and food-prep garments?
Kitchen garments carry each client site’s food-safety requirements. Where the caterer wants them alongside the front-of-house line, we build strictly to the specification held, with no claims of ours attached.
Can one order dress every client site identically?
Yes, and that is the point. The portfolio holds one specification, and each new site’s opening intake pulls from patterns on file, so the newest café dresses like the flagship.
We win and lose sites constantly. What happens to the wardrobe?
Styles and patterns stay on file with the factory. Mobilising a new site is a re-order, not a new sourcing exercise, and the team lands dressed to the company standard from day one.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. The factory exports woven programmes worldwide, including for a Hawaii-based procurement house, and handles export documentation from Bandung.
We need 500 pieces per style, not 1,000. Is there an option?
Our sister brand Kizen Lab produces woven and non-woven programmes from 500 pieces per style at kizenlab.com, in the same factory group.
