Auction House Uniforms from 1,000 Pieces

World KNK makes auction house uniforms in Bandung, Indonesia: woven shirts for saleroom teams, porters and registration desks, cut and sewn to your house’s brand from 1,000 pieces per style. Branding applied in production, patterns stored on Lectra systems for sale-season top-ups, and 200,000 pieces of monthly capacity behind the programme. Producing since 2000.

The saleroom is on camera

Auction houses livestream their sales, film their catalogues and photograph every room, which makes the saleroom one of the most-watched wardrobes in professional service: porters carrying lots on camera, saleroom staff managing the room, registration desks handling bidders, telephone bidding teams working the phones on screen. Every shirt is in the shot, and across a multi-room sale season the second team’s shirts drift from the first’s unless one specification holds them together. That is a manufacturing brief, and it is what this programme runs: saleroom, porters, registration and office shirting cut to the house’s brand from 1,000 pieces per style, on one specification, sale after sale.

Patterns are cut digitally on Lectra systems and stored with the programme, so a sale-season intake comes off the same nest as the first delivery exactly.

What we make for auction house teams

Saleroom staff shirts

Formal collared woven shirts for the room, in the house’s palette, consistent on camera across every sale.

Porter & handling team shirts

Durable easy-care shirts built for carrying days, with colour-coding that reads at a distance in the room.

Registration & phone bidding wear

Neater shirting for the desks and telephone teams that bidders meet and hear all sale.

Office & valuation wear

Business shirts for valuers, specialists and administration, in the same brand system.

House branding in production

Logo embroidery and department palettes applied during manufacturing, approved on samples before bulk.

Sale-season top-ups

Seasonal hires and expanding sale calendars handled from patterns on file, matching every shirt already in the room.

One house brand across every sale

The failure mode in saleroom dressing is drift: head office restocked from one supplier, the regional saleroom from another, and the livestream quietly shows two versions of the brand. The discipline that prevents it is structural. Cloth is dyed to the house palette; embroidery is applied in production against approved artwork; patterns are cut digitally on Lectra systems and stored, so run two is manufactured from the same nest as run one. Samples are couriered within 1 to 2 weeks and audited before bulk; bulk runs 6 to 12 weeks with shipping documentation handled from our side. Auction groups audit what arrives; this is a factory built to pass that audit, including a Hawaii-based procurement house among our buyers.

FOB (full service) manufacturing

Auction houses run different supply models, and both are on offer here. Under FOB (full service), we source the fabric, build the pattern, run sampling and production, and QC every piece before shipment. The production floor, pattern-making and QC are the same on every programme, and every programme starts at 1,000 pieces per style.

How a house programme order runs

Send the specification: tech packs, reference shirts or the current wardrobe to replace, with your department breakdown, staff numbers and size run. Samples are couriered within 1 to 2 weeks and worn, washed and audited before approval. Bulk production takes 6 to 12 weeks depending on fabric, then ships with documentation handled from our side. Plan around the sale calendar: a standing replenishment rhythm off stored patterns keeps every room in specification without re-tendering the shirt.

Auction house uniform FAQs

What is the minimum order?

1,000 pieces per style, mixed across your size run. Custom fabric development starts at 1,500 pieces per style.

We run regional salerooms. Can you keep them matching?

Yes. One specification holds across every room, and re-orders are cut from the same stored Lectra patterns, so the livestream shows one brand.

Can porters’ shirts be colour-coded from the saleroom team’s?

Yes. Department palettes are applied in production and stable across styles and re-orders, so roles read at a distance in the room.

Our house is smaller than a thousand pieces. Is there an option?

Our subsidiary Kizen Lab runs the same standards from 500 pieces per style on a full-service basis at kizenlab.com, in the same factory group.

How do re-orders stay consistent between sale seasons?

Patterns, specs and approved artwork stay on file with the factory. Every top-up manufactures to the same locked specification as the first delivery.
