World KNK makes uniforms for airport lounge operators in Bandung, Indonesia: woven garments cut and sewn to your design, in our own factory, since 2000. Programmes start at 1,000 pieces per style, mixed across your full size run, with 200,000 pieces of monthly production capacity behind them. Sampling takes 1 to 2 weeks and bulk delivery 6 to 12 weeks, shipped from Bandung with documentation handled from our side.
The lounge is a hotel lobby compressed into three hours
An airport lounge runs hotel-grade service in a hotel-sized window: guests arrive stressed, timed and mid-journey, and the operator’s entire brand is how the next ninety minutes feel. The team delivering it, reception at the desk, concierge hosts on the floor, the dining and bar crew, the attendants keeping the business corners and rest areas presentable, dresses today from hospitality catalogues sized for hotels: minimums per site, one order per lounge, and a network of lounges that slowly stops matching. The lounge operator’s real requirement is a network programme: one specification across every lounge in every terminal, partner-brand accents applied in production where a lounge carries an airline’s name, and patterns stored so the lounge opening in a new city dresses identically to the flagship.
Patterns are cut digitally on Lectra systems and stored with your programme, so every opening, every rotation and every intake comes off the same files and matches the first delivery exactly.

Opening & rotation top-ups
Lounge openings and staff rotations pull from patterns on file and match the network exactly.
One operator, many partners, one specification
The lounge operator’s wardrobe carries two loyalties at once: the operator’s own brand, which must read identically in every city, and the partner airline’s, whose lounge the guest believes they are walking into. Catalogue buying breaks under that: each lounge orders its own, the partner accents drift, and the network frays. A held specification carries both: the operator’s palette, cloth standard and fit run across the whole estate, and partner accents run as production-applied variants of the same patterns, approved on samples, matched on re-orders. When a lounge opens in a new terminal, it opens dressed like the flagship, because both come off the same files.
How ordering works
Send your designs, reference shirts or the palette you want matched, with headcount and size breakdown across the roles and your lounge list. We quote the programme, put fabric options on the table, and samples are couriered within 1 to 2 weeks. Have staff wear and wash them through real shifts before approving bulk, then production takes 6 to 12 weeks depending on fabric and ships with documentation handled from our side, scheduled to your opening calendar. Order a buffer: rotations never stop, and patterns on file turn every intake into a matching re-order.
Lounge uniform FAQs
What is the minimum order?
1,000 pieces per style, mixed across your size run. Role tiers run as separate styles, each at 1,000, which suits an operator running lounges across several terminals or cities.
Can lounges carry partner airline branding?
Yes, as production-applied accent variants of the operator’s specification: the partner’s colours within your held patterns, approved on samples and matched on every re-order.
Can one programme cover reception, concierge and dining?
Yes. Tiers run as separate styles in one programme, role-coloured for reading across a full lounge, all held to one cloth and construction specification.
How do re-orders for staff rotations work?
Your patterns stay on file with the factory. A top-up matches the first delivery exactly, so the host starting next month’s rotation wears what the network wears.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We export from Bandung, Indonesia, and the group already ships garment programmes overseas, including for a Hawaii-based procurement house.
We need fewer than 1,000 pieces per style. Can you help?
For smaller inquiries, check out our subsidiary Kizen Lab. They run woven uniform programmes from 500 pieces on a full-service basis at kizenlab.com.
