Zoo & Wildlife Park Uniforms from 1,000 Pieces

World KNK makes uniforms for zoos and wildlife parks in Bandung, Indonesia: woven garments cut and sewn to your park’s design, in our own factory, since 2000. Programmes start at 1,000 pieces per style, mixed across your full size run, with 200,000 pieces of monthly production capacity behind them. Sampling takes 1 to 2 weeks and bulk delivery 6 to 12 weeks, shipped from Bandung with documentation handled from our side.

Every visitor is watching the animals, and looking for your staff

A zoo or wildlife park field is the widest guest-facing workforce in the attractions world: admissions and gate teams, the education and presentation staff who front the talks, membership and donor relations, the retail shops at every exit, and the events crew running the after-dark season. Visitors who need help scan for a shirt before they read a map, and most parks answer with bulk stock polos reordered whenever a colour runs out, so the guest-facing team drifts a shade every season. The bespoke route exists through design houses, and the making still happens offshore; the missing piece is a factory programme that holds the specification: one palette applied in production, role colours that read across a crowd, patterns stored so the school-holiday intake matches the team that trained them.

Patterns are cut digitally on Lectra systems and stored with your programme, so every intake, every season and every new entrance comes off the same files and matches the first delivery exactly.

What we make for zoos and wildlife parks

Guest services & admissions

Collared woven shirts for the gates and the teams directing a full car park’s worth of questions.

Education & presentation wear

Sharp shirting for the staff who front school groups, keeper talks and the amphitheatre.

Membership & donor relations

Neater tailored pieces for the team that renews members and hosts the park’s supporters.

Retail shop staff pieces

Store wear for the shops at every exit, cut to the park’s palette rather than a stock blank.

Events & functions staff

Evening shirting for the after-dark season, venue hires and corporate days on the lawn.

Season & volunteer intake top-ups

Holiday intakes and volunteer programmes churn; top-ups pull from patterns on file and match the floor exactly.

Guest wardrobe here; keeper kit with the field specification

A clear line keeps this programme precise about what it is: the guest-facing wardrobe, the shirts visitors meet at the gate, the talk, the shop and the function. The animal-care team’s field garments are a different category with different requirements, and they are quoted against the written specification your keepers and operations team hold, alongside your outdoor field supplier. What connects the two is the palette and the label standard, so the whole park still reads as one organisation from the front gate to the back of house, with each stream quoted and held separately.

How ordering works

Send your designs, reference shirts or the palette you want matched, with headcount and size breakdown across the guest-facing tiers and your season calendar. We quote the programme, put fabric options on the table, and samples are couriered within 1 to 2 weeks. Have staff wear and wash them through real shifts before approving bulk, then production takes 6 to 12 weeks depending on fabric and ships with documentation handled from our side, scheduled ahead of your peak season. Order a buffer: the holiday intake is the biggest wave of the year, and patterns on file turn it into a matching re-order.

Zoo uniform FAQs

What is the minimum order?

1,000 pieces per style, mixed across your size run. Role tiers run as separate styles, each at 1,000, which suits a major park’s guest-facing headcount.

Do you make the keeper field uniforms?

Animal-care field garments are quoted against your operations team’s written specification. This programme is the guest-facing wardrobe; the two can share one palette and label standard.

Can one programme cover admissions, education, retail and events?

Yes. Tiers run as separate styles in one programme, role-coloured for reading at a distance, all held to one cloth and construction specification.

How do volunteer and seasonal intakes work?

Your patterns stay on file with the factory. A top-up matches the first delivery exactly, so the holiday intake and the volunteer programme wear what the permanent team wears.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. We export from Bandung, Indonesia, and the group already ships garment programmes overseas, including for a Hawaii-based procurement house.

We need fewer than 1,000 pieces per style. Can you help?

For smaller inquiries, check out our subsidiary Kizen Lab. They run woven uniform programmes from 500 pieces on a full-service basis at kizenlab.com.
