World KNK manufactures military-style clothing for apparel brands in Bandung, Indonesia: woven field shirts, utility garments and jackets cut and sewn to your brand’s own design, in our own factory, since 2000. Programmes start at 1,000 pieces per style, mixed across your full size run, with 200,000 pieces of monthly production capacity behind them. Sampling takes 1 to 2 weeks and bulk delivery 6 to 12 weeks, shipped from Bandung with documentation handled from our side.
The brands selling military style design it; they don’t sew it
Military-inspired apparel is one of the most durable lanes in menswear and workwear: field shirts, utility trousers, Overshirt cuts and jacket styles that borrow the silhouette and the durability brief and sell on a brand label. The established names in that lane are design and marketing businesses; the sewing happens at contract factories, and the brands that scale are the ones whose factory holds the specification and repeats it. That is the relationship this programme is built for. Your pattern, your cloth, your woven labels applied in production, and Lectra digital patterns stored so a reorder in season three is cut from the same nest as the first delivery.
Fabric is where this lane lives or dies. Ripstop, canvas and twill weights matched to your brief, custom development starting at 1,500 pieces per style when a stock blend cannot deliver the hand or the weight the design calls for, and cloth dyed to your palette rather than picked from a stock card.

Private brands, not defence procurement
To be direct about the lane we serve: we manufacture military-style garments for private apparel brands, to the brand’s own specification. We do not manufacture official force uniforms, and we do not participate in defence procurement, which is a restricted, nationally regulated world that private brands never enter and never need to. Insignia and official identifiers are not part of this programme; your garments carry your brand and nothing else. Every specification, the weights, the construction details, the testing you require, is written by you, held on file, and built to the letter, which is the same discipline we bring to every programme on this floor.
How ordering works
Send your tech pack, reference garments or sketches, with your quantity and size breakdown per colourway. We quote the programme, put fabric options on the table, and samples are couriered within 1 to 2 weeks. Test the sample hard; this lane’s buyers wear garments to destruction before they approve bulk. Production then takes 6 to 12 weeks depending on fabric and ships with documentation handled from our side. Order a buffer across your colourways: patterns on file turn every restock into a matching re-order.
Military-style manufacturing FAQs
What is the minimum order?
1,000 pieces per style, mixed across your size run. Multiple colourways of the same pattern run as separate styles, each at 1,000. Custom fabric development starts at 1,500 pieces per style.
Do you manufacture official military uniforms?
No. Official force uniforms are a restricted procurement lane we do not participate in. This programme makes military-style garments for private apparel brands, carrying your brand label only.
Can you develop ripstop or canvas to our brief?
Yes. Custom fabric development starts at 1,500 pieces per style: weight, weave and dyed colour matched to your specification, with test reports supplied alongside the samples.
How do samples work for this lane?
Samples are couriered within 1 to 2 weeks of specification. Wear them hard, wash them repeatedly, and approve bulk only when the garment survives the way your customers will use it.
How do restocks and new colourways work?
Your patterns stay on file with the factory. A restock or a new colourway comes off the same stored patterns and matches the first delivery exactly.
We need fewer than 1,000 pieces per style. Can you help?
For smaller inquiries, check out our subsidiary Kizen Lab. They run woven garment programmes from 500 pieces on a full-service basis at kizenlab.com.
