World KNK makes front-of-house and administrative uniforms for aged care and retirement living operators in Bandung, Indonesia: woven garments cut and sewn to your design, in our own factory, since 2000. Programmes start at 1,000 pieces per style, mixed across your full size run, with 200,000 pieces of monthly production capacity behind them. Sampling takes 1 to 2 weeks and bulk delivery 6 to 12 weeks, shipped from Bandung with documentation handled from our side.
Families judge the home in the first thirty seconds
The hardest decision a family ever makes is moving a parent into care, and they make their judgement in the first thirty seconds at the front desk, long before they tour a single room. What they are reading is the operator: whether the reception reads as a home people are proud to run, whether the staff look like a team that has been chosen and trained, whether the manager’s shirt matches the standard the brochure promised. That front-of-house tier, the receptionists, admissions teams, lifestyle coordinators, dining room hosts and village managers, is the operator’s daily face to residents and families alike. The care sector’s supply layer serves the clinical side thoroughly and leaves the front-of-house tier to stock catalogues, which is why so many homes read as institutions instead of as the premium service they are. A made-to-spec programme gives the operator its own wardrobe: cloth dyed to the brand palette, role colours separating front office from lifestyle from management, patterns stored so every home in the group dresses identically.
Patterns are cut digitally on Lectra systems and stored with your programme, so every new home, every intake and every rebrand comes off the same files and matches the first delivery exactly.
What we make for aged care and retirement operators
Reception & admissions shirts
Warm, polished woven shirts for the desk where families arrive at the hardest moment of their year.
Lifestyle coordinator wear
Sharp, easy-moving pieces for the team running activities, outings and events.
Dining room hosts
Server-grade shirting for the dining rooms where residents eat every single meal.
Village & home managers
Smarter tailored pieces for the managers families meet first and remember longest.
Admin & admissions office wear

Portfolio top-ups
Operators run multiple homes; top-ups pull from patterns on file and match every site exactly.
Dress the front of house; clinical wear is a separate specification
A clear line keeps this programme precise: it dresses the home’s customer-facing and administrative workforce, the people whose day is families, residents and the running of the house. The carers’ and nurses’ clinical uniforms are a different category with compliance and infection-control requirements, and they stay with your clinical supplier. What the two streams share is the palette and the label standard, so the whole home reads as one operation from the front desk to the care wing, with each stream quoted and held separately. This programme is also deliberately not the residents’ own clothing: it is the operator’s team wardrobe, specified once and repeated for years.
How ordering works
Send your designs, reference shirts or the current front-of-house wardrobe, with headcount and size breakdown across the roles and your home list. We quote the programme, put fabric options on the table, and samples are couriered within 1 to 2 weeks. Have staff wear and wash them through real shifts before approving bulk, then production takes 6 to 12 weeks depending on fabric and ships with documentation handled from our side. Order a buffer: operators hire across roles all year, and patterns on file turn every intake into a matching re-order.
Aged care uniform FAQs
What is the minimum order?
1,000 pieces per style, mixed across your size run. Role tiers run as separate styles, each at 1,000, which suits an operator running multiple homes.
Do you make the carers’ and nurses’ clinical uniforms?
Clinical and care uniforms carry compliance and infection-control requirements and stay with your clinical supplier. This programme is the front-of-house and administrative wardrobe; the two can share one palette.
Can one programme cover every home in the group?
Yes. The specification runs across every home, with role colours consistent site to site, all cut from the same stored patterns.
How do re-orders for new intakes work?
Your patterns stay on file with the factory. A top-up matches the first delivery exactly, so the coordinator starting next month wears what the team wears.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We export from Bandung, Indonesia, and the group already ships garment programmes overseas, including for a Hawaii-based procurement house.
We need fewer than 1,000 pieces per style. Can you help?
For smaller inquiries, check out our subsidiary Kizen Lab. They run woven uniform programmes from 500 pieces on a full-service basis at kizenlab.com.
